About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Direct Communications Executive to join our team at The National Trust. As a key member of our Supporter Data & Customer Journeys Team, you will play a critical role in setting up and delivering our direct marketing communications on our new marketing automation solution, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build workflows to ensure marketing campaigns and journeys are built in a robust, maintainable, and repeatable fashion.
  • Use technical and data skills to ensure marketing campaigns and journeys are accurate and compliant with the latest data protection legislation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and operational colleagues to deliver and enhance our central and regional direct marketing campaigns and journeys.
  • Develop and maintain personalized campaigns that integrate seamlessly with our digital platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing automation solutions and campaign workflows.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Understanding of customer data and relational database structures.
  • Data manipulation skills and coding experience (e.g., SQL, AMPscript, HTML).
  • Knowledge of marketing automation solutions and campaign workflows.
  • Understanding of data protection legislation and its practical application in direct marketing.
  • Understanding of digital customer journeys, taking these from design through to implementation.
  • Attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and effectively communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
