Peer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Worker to join our dynamic team. As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in their own homes, providing a range of interventions to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and group support to service users, promoting their recovery and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless service provision.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and carers.
- Contribute to the development of service user-led initiatives and projects.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.
- Lived experience of secondary mental health services.
- Ability to use the RIO electronic records system.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to change and innovation.
- Ability to work a variety of hours to suit the needs of service users and the service.
