Job Title: Transport Operator

Command Recruitment is seeking a skilled Transport Operator to join our client's brand-new company in Dover. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing transport company with a great future ahead.

Job Purpose:

The Transport Operator will be responsible for resourcing and implementing the delivery plan in conjunction with the wider team, with a strong emphasis on Service. The key objectives include:

  1. Ensuring all routes run on time and hitting high delivery performance targets, while operating efficiently within legal and company guidelines.
  2. Ensuring service levels are met cost-effectively and within drivers' hours and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

The Transport Operator will be expected to:

  • Make decisions and changes with the company's best interests at heart.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, contractors, and suppliers, representing the client's new business.
  • Extend professional communication to drivers and other staff members.

Working Hours:

4 days on, 4 days off, with a shift pattern of 8:00 - 20:00.

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £35,000 dependant on experience, with 20 days holiday.
