EnRoute Recruit is in search of a skilled B2B Sales Specialist on behalf of a distinguished client within the events and hospitality sector.
As a Corporate Events Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to actively promote a wide array of offerings, including conferences, team-building exercises, and large corporate gatherings.
This distinctive position enables you to oversee the complete client experience, from the initial sales engagement and account management to the on-site execution of services, collaborating closely with dedicated hospitality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients, contacts, and market segments while proactively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Manage and expand client accounts to optimize revenue.
- Target prospective clients and agencies, securing appointments both on-site and off-site, with a goal of five per week.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve and surpass personal and collective sales objectives.
- Attend client visits, networking events, FAM trips, and represent the venue at trade exhibitions.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective call management, lead generation, and relationship building.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with booking agencies and clients to enhance the venue's profile and attract potential high-volume clients.
- Prepare compelling and precise proposals for corporate events.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients to secure business agreements.
- Maximize revenue through upselling additional services such as private dining, beverage packages, team-building activities, and other business-related offerings.
- Conduct venue tours for prospective corporate clients.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated success in proactive sales with the ability and drive to identify and convert new sales opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
- Experience in managing, nurturing, and expanding large accounts.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate profitable revenue through innovative approaches.
- Excellent telephone sales skills.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to travel requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- £26,000 Per Annum + Commission
- 25 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays
