Position Overview

At Deichmann, we are seeking to recruit a Trainee Store Manager. This role offers a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive starting salary of £28,000 per annum. You will initially be assigned to a store within the district, and as you progress through your training, you will have the chance to support and manage various stores in the surrounding area.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Team Member or Supervisor eager to advance into Store Management. You will receive comprehensive training and development, with the potential to become a Cover Manager upon completion of your training, and eventually, the Store Manager of your own location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide the team to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Lead by example in promoting and recommending complementary shoe care products, showcasing confidence in sales and product knowledge.
  • Manage staffing schedules and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Analyze sales performance data and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Propose strategies for enhancing sales performance based on data analysis and customer insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in merchandising and administrative tasks.
  • Support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while meeting all company expectations.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of team members.
