We are seeking a highly skilled Study Skills Coach to join our team at Randstad. As a Study Skills Coach, you will work closely with students who have specific learning difficulties, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will need to travel to local universities and colleges to provide in-person support, as well as offer online sessions to meet student preferences. As a Study Skills Coach, you will create individualized learning plans that cater to each student's needs, helping them to become independent learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement learning strategies to support students with specific learning difficulties
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students, helping them to build on their strengths and learning strategies
  • Help students to create action plans to stay on track with their studies, including strategies for organization and time management
  • Support students in developing their research skills, including finding and using credible sources
  • Assist students in building their comprehension skills, including reading and writing
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold membership with one of the following professional bodies:

  • British Dyslexia Association (BDA)
  • Professional Membership The Association of Dyslexia (ADSHE)
  • Dyslexia Guild
  • The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS)
