We are pleased to present a fantastic opportunity to join one of Cirencester's leading enterprises, a prestigious business in the engineering sector. Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team as an integral member.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out maintenance tasks and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including bespoke machinery.
  2. Work to set schedules for maintenance work orders, ensuring regular maintenance of parts reduces failure and prevents large scale issues or stoppages.
  3. Build and develop new maintenance schedules, working alongside technicians and production operatives to ensure productive workflows.
  4. Reporting all failures to Engineering Manager.
  5. Manufacture parts using machines lathes, mills, grinders and more.
  6. Assist with installations of new tools/machines when required.
  7. Provide general maintenance within the site.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with electrical components, or electronics in some capacity.
  • Mechanical Engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • A fundamental understanding of industrial electrical circuits.
  • Exposure to working with machines such as lathes and mills.
  • A rudimentary understanding of electronic engineering would be viewed highly.
  • Full UK driving license.
