Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales and design team with quotations and design work, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain the showroom's appearance, ensuring it is open, clean, and organized, and report any issues to the management.
- Follow the end-of-day showroom shutdown process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Manage common areas, ensuring they are tidy and professional, and maintain a high level of organization.
- Prepare for presentations, welcome clients, and offer refreshments, providing exceptional customer service.
- Order and manage the supply of showroom essentials, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
- Attend internal and external training courses to enhance professional development and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Maintain and stock brochures and samples, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Answer phone calls and take concise messages, providing excellent communication skills.
- Meet and greet clients, including managing arranged client meetings, and provide a warm and welcoming experience.
- Assist with seasonal displays and gifts, adding a touch of creativity to the showroom.
- Prepare fitter packs and train new colleagues on processes, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Handle website enquiries and add to the company's customer relationship management system.
- Prepare commission presentations and prospect for trade opportunities, driving business growth.
- Manage remedials, small additions, and larger project additions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct design research and provide new project ideas, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Perform quote checks during the Design Manager's absence, ensuring continuity and accuracy.
- Provide design solutions and problem-solving support, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Document and tidy client meeting areas, take photos of samples, and type up notes, maintaining a high level of organization.
- Develop skills in sales and design, running small design and sales projects, and driving business growth.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for detail, ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy in design work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Proficiency in design software is a plus, but not required.
