Role Summary:

Engenda is on the lookout for a Junior CAD Technician / Laser Scanning Specialist to become a part of our dynamic CAD team in Runcorn. The selected individual will receive comprehensive training and mentorship within our CAD and design departments, focusing on the creation of drawings and designs that align with the objectives of our design engineers. Additionally, they will be trained to handle 3D laser scanning tasks across various locations.

Key Duties:

  • Operate laser scanning equipment on-site.
  • Process and model data post-scanning.
  • Utilize CAD software to produce drawings and 3D models as part of a collaborative team effort.
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to grasp project requirements and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK Driving License (Manual)
  • Willingness to occasionally stay overnight for survey purposes
  • Proficient ICT skills, including MS Office; prior CAD experience is advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to engineering, CAD applications, surveying, or laser scanning is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities – collaboration with diverse teams at various levels is essential.
  • A proactive attitude – eagerness to learn and develop is crucial, along with the ability to express oneself effectively.
