Acoustic Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant to join our team at NOVA Acoustics Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality acoustic services to our clients in London and the Home Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building acoustic testing and design, environmental noise/vibration, and occupational noise assessments.
  • Lead projects from end to end, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Utilize recognized noise modelling packages, such as SoundPlan and Odeon, to analyze and mitigate noise issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Produce high-quality technical reports and written English.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in acoustics-related fields.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in an acoustics-related subject.
  • Associate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA), preferably corporate membership (MIOA).
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
