Master Production Scheduler

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Production Scheduler to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the 3-18 month Horizon Master Plans in our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a plan that satisfies customer requirements, meets inventory targets, and is supported by a commitment from production and a load & capacity validation.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials and Part records in PDM and SAP.
  • Interact with internal customers such as Engineering, Procurement, or Programs.
  • Ensure plans adhere to various planning parameters, including Safety Time, Safety Stock, Quotas & workshare, etc.
  • Be aware of VEX needs for the site, identify opportunities, and take actions.
  • Follow the configuration management process and create/maintain Master data in PDM- Production/Planning materials and As-Planned configurations.
  • Complete engineering change documentation into SAP in a timely manner and cascade updates to relevant departments.
  • Request PDM- SAP transfers and analyze/correct transfer objects in case of errors.
  • Maintain accurate Master Data in the ERP system for program-specific parts.
  • Manage Exception messages routinely and accurately, taking into account specific situations, I.E., OvRM controlled parts.
  • Support queries from the supply chain, including Part shortage and alternative plans.
  • Support Senior planners and PPM for relevant programs with any requests.
