Mainframe System Automation Engineer Position at Experian

We invite you to consider a role as a Mainframe System Automation Engineer with Experian. We are in search of a committed professional who possesses a deep understanding of complex automation requirements and is eager to improve business workflows through teamwork and automation initiatives.

Our team, based in Nottingham, embraces a hybrid work model, providing flexibility to work from home or in the office according to your preference.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized support for Mainframe Automation and output management
  • Create and sustain Splunk dashboards and alerts
  • Provide on-call assistance for OPSMVS, CAView, and iDash challenges
  • Engage with both internal and external teams to develop technical roadmaps
  • Adhere to Experian's ITIL processes for Change, Incident, Problem, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Oversee Mainframe Automation tools in compliance with Experian's security standards and policies

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sophisticated Mainframe environment
  • Proficiency in the administration of Mainframe System Automation software
  • Knowledge of Mainframe systems such as OPSMVS, CA-View & CA-Deliver, and REXX
  • Expertise in Mainframe Operations, including JCL, ISPF, JES2, and z/OS
