Senior Vice President, Global Security Operations

Role Overview

This position is accountable for directing the Security Operations strategy for the Global Security Services division within NCC Group. The role entails formulating and executing the technological strategy to guarantee that security services provide innovative, high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective solutions to clients. This includes leading a global team of over 60 professionals to deliver architectural designs, prototyping, and the development of broader system integrations (including Splunk, VMWare, Microsoft CrowdStrike, and other leading security technologies) while collaborating with various stakeholders across NCC to align with the overarching company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architecture of proprietary solutions for the delivery of NCC's Global Security Services suite. This encompasses:

  • Development of a tenant model and utilization of NCC architecture for effective management of client tenants.
  • Creation of a comprehensive architecture for NCC Group infrastructure, along with integration into client environments to facilitate the consumption of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
  • Collaboration with highly skilled developers, detection engineers, and red team specialists to enhance designs.
  • Close partnership with developers to establish a DevOps/infrastructure-as-code methodology for deployment.
  • Documentation and design of reference architectures.
  • Development of a customer configuration and management portal.
  • Oversight of development tasks and feature backlog management.
  • Maintenance of the deployment pipeline.
  • Troubleshooting of deployment failures.
  • Ensuring platform health and stability.
  • Assisting in response to service-related issues on the platform.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on atypical deployments, including but not limited to AWS, GCP, and protection of container workloads.
  • Supporting RFPs as necessary.
  • Participating in discussions with complex prospective clients to provide platform insights.
  • Offering ad-hoc support and maintenance for demo environments.
  • Aiding in the delivery of non-standard client requirements through the delivery team.
  • Leading technical workshops with intricate clients to ensure proposed designs are suitable.
  • Collaborating with Global Technical Services on centrally delivered resources, standards, and processes.
  • Upholding Security Best Practices and adhering to Group Security policies and standards consistently.
  • Engaging with the Group Design Authority to ensure that technical and solution architecture standards and documentation fulfill requirements.

  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with web development (Blazor).
  • Experience with ServiceNow and other system integration platforms.
