Supply Chain Planner

As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation and evolution of demand planning, a key part of the company's S&OP programme.
Key Responsibilities- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain that may impact the balance between supply and demand. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and resilience.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence into demand planning processes to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams to drive optimal inventory levels, enabling better planning and reduction of overall customer lead times.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports and KPI's pertaining to demand planning process.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning organisation in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new product, and product phase-out.
