Senior Construction Project Manager

Nexos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Engineer to join our team in a permanent capacity at our Dyce office.

As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a contract related to offshore or onshore construction activities. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all construction activities are planned and executed in accordance with client requirements, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input to asset plans for your nominated contract, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is included.
  • Review and approve construction work packs and GOC CCHPs.
  • Attend weekly planning meetings as required.
  • Ensure adequate information is available to the construction team to undertake planned project construction tasks.
  • Assume project commercial and technical responsibility for all projects where you are PRP (Project Responsible Person).
  • Act as the focal point for project construction work, coordinating tooling and equipment, arranging labor supply, and monitoring progress and productivity.
  • Verify compliance for both personnel and equipment to individual project and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to Degree Level in a Relevant Discipline
  • Trade Qualification, apprenticeship, or NVQ/SVQ Level 3
  • Previous vocational experience in an onshore support role or offshore supervisory role.
  • Relevant Offshore Mandatory Requirements (Survival, Medical, MIST, EBS, etc.).
