The Opportunity

We are seeking a Night Childcare Worker to ensure the physical and emotional needs of children are met during nighttime hours. This role involves managing challenging behavior, providing personal care, advice, assistance, and support. You will help children settle into night-time routines, assist with meal preparation, and support daily living skills in line with individual care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Manage challenging behavior and provide personal care, advice, assistance, and support to children
  • Help children settle into night-time routines, including washing, getting up in the morning, and getting ready for bed
  • Assist in the provision and preparation of meals in the home
  • Support daily living skills in line with individual care plans
Requirements
  • Good standard of literacy, including the ability to write reports and applications
  • Grade D or above in GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above preferred)
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
