The Role: Multi Skilled Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at our Greenwich Wharf site in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic maritime environment, utilizing your skills in plant operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing vessels docked at the site, ensuring safety and stability.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on conveyors operating above water and across ships.
  • Operating mobile plant equipment to support site operations.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient material handling and timely deliveries.
  • Assisting the Supervisor in achieving daily production targets.
  • Adhering to strict health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Conducting regular inspections of plant equipment and implementing necessary repairs.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout the site.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience working with ships and vessels in a maritime environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of plant operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Confident working at heights and near water.
  • Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
