About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our Site Maintenance Team at Gist. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-class engineering services for on-site machinery, ensuring a 100% safety standard is embedded in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the required schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the machine and across the wider site.
  • Be proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve things.
  • Carry out repair and improvement work across the site, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensure all work undertaken and equipment downtime are accurately recorded on our CMMS.
