Job Title: HGV Technician

Location: Faversham, GB

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the performance of our heavy goods vehicle fleet.

As an integral part of our Faversham site operation, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults with HGVs
  • Communicate technical information to teammates and escalate issues to relevant managers
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Accurately document all work and maintain high standards of quality

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guild Level 2 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent
  • Desirable: Irtec accreditation and HGV Class 1 licence
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £18.40 - £20.02
  • 25% premium for shifts worked between 18:00 and 06:00 and up to 35% on weekends
  • Benefits package including Christmas bonus, funded Class 1 licence, and Irtec accreditation
