Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Satis Education. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Maths education to students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision of classes across the Maths curriculum in the event of the absence of the Class Teacher.
  • Supervise pupils, ensuring engagement and are on task in the work set out by the class Teacher.
  • Create a safe, positive, supportive classroom environment.
  • Confidence to manage a class of mixed ability pupils.
  • Provide feedback to the class Teacher on pupils' achievement progress and return feedback to the pupils' under the guidance of the class Teacher.
  • Ensure all school policies are adhered to relating to child protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with the 11-16 age group.
  • Flexibility, creativity, patience, and a sense of humour.
  • Enhanced DBS (on the update service).
  • CV covering your last 10 years of employment.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Overseas police check, if applicable.
  • Two references (covering the last two years).
