Software Engineering Manager - Openlink Endur

Overview:

Intec Select is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager with a strong background in Openlink Endur to lead our team of software engineers and support engineers.

  • Lead by Example: Utilize strong leadership skills to mentor, coach, and provide feedback to team members, ensuring they have a great experience in their work life.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your extensive experience with Openlink Endur to provide guidance, oversee projects, and ensure seamless integration with other trading systems.
  • Hands-on Development: Engage in hands-on software development and support activities, including pair programming on new features and troubleshooting.
  • Project Ownership: Drive project ownership, including defining requirements, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, traders, back office, and various management teams globally to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration and support of systems connected to Openlink Endur, including message buses, workflow orchestrators, and various third-party integrations.

Technical Requirements:

  • Openlink Endur Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Openlink Endur, with the ability to guide projects and support activities related to this platform.
  • Programming Skills: Experience writing Endur software using OpenJVS or OpenComponents, as well as writing production non-Endur software applications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with energy trading risk management asset classes, especially natural gas and power.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience managing both software engineers and support engineers.
  • Project Management: Ability to own projects, define requirements, and lead development and support initiatives.

Package:

  • Competitive Salary: £200,000 - £250,000 base salary
  • Annual Bonus: Annual Bonus bringing total compensation to in excess of £300k
  • Hybrid Working: Hybrid working arrangement with a mix of remote and in-office work
