Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician

This is a key position that requires the ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing non-technical repairs and minor PPM's, as well as assisting in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  2. Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  3. Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job to carry out repairs as necessary.
  4. Ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
  5. Although aligned to an area for the purpose of PPM completion, the AMT may be required to attend other sites within the Division to carry out work.
  6. Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
  7. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with City and client colleagues.
  8. Support other City technicians/teams with any major or minor maintenance work.
  9. Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPI's.
  10. Monitor and update the Mercury system including live job updates.
  11. Previous experience in plumbing, either commercial or domestic, would be advantageous.
Requirements:
  1. A level 2 trade qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship).
  2. Previous experience in multi-skilled building maintenance is required.
  3. Plumbing skills / experience / qualification.
  4. Full driving license required.
  5. Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment.
  6. Quality of repairs and maintenance.
  7. Speed and efficiency of work.
  8. Problem Solving.
  9. Good PC Skills – Apple and Android.
  10. Response to service call requests within agreed response times.
  11. Achievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
  12. Maintenance of Health and Safety policy.
  13. Client and City colleague relationships and feedback.
  14. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
