Job Title: Crime & Regulatory Solicitor - Tier 1 Firm

CapeClarke Limited is seeking a qualified solicitor with experience in defending motor crime inquests and regulatory matters to join its team in Manchester.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-rounded lawyer with a keen interest in building client relationships through the delivery of training and mentoring, as well as delivering first-class legal solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analysis of prosecution evidence and considering implications for lay clients and companies
  • Drafting statements of insured witnesses and reviewing client evidence
  • Liaising with courts, coroner's offices, and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborating with experts and serving defence case statements
  • Preparing written submissions and reviewing transcripts of evidence
  • Organising conferences and meetings, and drafting notes of discussion
  • Representing clients at interviews and trials
  • Researching relevant guidelines and regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct
Requirements:
