Our Warrington facility is recognized as a center of excellence for Italian cuisine, with recent enhancements and investments transforming it into a cutting-edge manufacturing site. We specialize in producing high-quality Italian ready meals for leading retailers.We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This position entails working 16 hours to support our operational shifts.
Your responsibilities will include conducting microbiological, physical, and chemical analyses as instructed, while adhering to established procedures and protocols to ensure timely results that optimize production efficiency.
- Manage and process all samples received for analysis, documenting compliance or flagging adverse results for necessary corrective actions.
- Maintain effective communication with relevant departments and external stakeholders to ensure they are informed of test outcomes and pertinent laboratory data.
- Operate in accordance with SHE policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification
- Level 2 Health and Safety Certification
- Training in Chemical Safety or COSHH
- Basic computer proficiency for recording and reporting test results using standard software packages.
