About the Role:

The Business Development Manager is a key member of the Rite Recruit Ltd team, responsible for driving new business growth and revenue expansion within the sales and commercial recruitment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to build a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Prioritize outbound business development efforts, utilizing a phone-first approach, along with video, face-to-face, and written communication.
  • Sell recruitment services to clients, focusing on contingent, exclusive, and retained models.
  • Establish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
  • Develop a professional questioning and closing style to effectively engage with clients.
  • Create and implement sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Negotiate high-value fees with clients and improve average placement rates.
  • Increase client lifetime value by developing repeatable, high-volume client business.
  • Manage and convert inbound leads.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Rite Recruit Ltd's terms of business, recruitment services, and market insights.
  • Lead client briefs and qualify jobs to ensure accurate information and client commitment.
  • Load job and company information into the CRM system.
  • Accurately document, track, and monitor client and job activity in the CRM.
  • Brief and work closely with the delivery team to source suitable candidates quickly.
  • Proof job adverts and marketing materials to attract suitable candidates.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring speed, momentum, and control throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidates at the second interview stage through to placement.
  • Take control of candidate and client management at the job offer stage.
  • Manage client account relationships.
  • Manage credit control, counteroffers, and dropouts.
  • Obtain client testimonials and referrals.
  • Research and recommend networking opportunities.
  • Represent Rite Recruit Ltd at events.
  • Develop strong internal working relationships.
  • Contribute to business strategy as required.
