Financial Controller Opportunity at Thrive Group Careers
Thrive Group Careers is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Frome. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for the management of the finance team and all aspects of finance for both sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce weekly, monthly, and annual management and financial reports, including year-end statutory accounts, and develop new systems to improve efficiency, speed, and standardization of presentation.
- Ensure that accounting records and financial control procedures meet internal, group, and external audit requirements.
- Develop long-term plans, budgets, and forecasts to analyze and map the performance of the company.
- Monitor cash flow and currency requirements, providing cash flow forecasting as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified with a recognized professional accounting body (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE, accompanied by a good general standard of education.
- Experience in credit and transactional management, with the ability to prioritize and organize a large workload.
- A good general understanding of IT systems and software, with proficiency in MS Excel.
