About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Centaur Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all plant, equipment, and facilities are in good working order.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Develop and maintain a maintenance program to ensure all systems are properly inspected and maintained.
  • Test and inspect fire suppression systems, including sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including generators and lighting.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on racking and other warehouse equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of the site to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve site operations and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
