Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Centaur Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all plant, equipment, and facilities are in good working order.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Develop and maintain a maintenance program to ensure all systems are properly inspected and maintained.
- Test and inspect fire suppression systems, including sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers.
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including generators and lighting.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on racking and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of the site to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to the facilities team and other departments as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
