Join Our Engineering Team

MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the Thames Water region. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our £400M water and wastewater schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications and can be constructed and commissioned efficiently.
  • Ensure the use of standard practices and procedures to maintain competitiveness and provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure the smooth running of the department and assist in developing procedures and processes.
  • Monitor and review procedures and processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Write, update, and monitor efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
  • Coordinate designs with all other disciplines to ensure the design processes carried out on the contract are coordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole.
  • Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
  • Assure customer satisfaction by working within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognized as the key to achieving other objectives.
  • Maintain a personal development plan and assist in supervising and developing staff.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff and reduce waste to a minimum from all departmental activities.
  • Ensure designs take account of environmental issues and health and safety requirements.
