About the Role

STS Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team on a Contract basis. As a key member of our Line Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft at our East Midlands Line station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of our company approvals
  • Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished in accordance with our Line Maintenance processes and procedures
  • Order spares and complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components, and record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings
  • Support ad-hoc AOG requirements and ensure the required aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Defect rectification on inbound aircraft and meet and greet inbound aircraft and de-brief the crew
  • Carry out engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required and maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment and ensure all work undertaken is in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Requirements
  • Preferred previous Line Maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills, and good communication skills
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
