Job Summary:

STS Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our line maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft at our East Midlands Line station.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of company approvals
  • Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
  • Order spares and complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components, and record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings
  • Support ad-hoc AOG requirements
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of aircraft maintenance activities
  • Rectify defects on inbound aircraft
  • Meet and greet inbound aircraft and debrief the crew
  • Perform engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
  • Carry out maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure all work undertaken is in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Requirements:
  • Preferred previous line maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving license essential
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
