Key Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly Portfolio Risk Management reviews with senior management and team members to discuss risk management strategies and updates.
  • Monitor financial data, statistics, and client ownership changes to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Manage collect-out clients, including credit control and updating senior management on emerging issues.
  • Provide updates to insolvency practitioners on collect-out clients and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor risk factors, payment authorities, and outstanding information to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Manage the risk mailbox and categorize follow-ups for senior management and the Head of Risk.
  • Provide cover for the Credit Manager, including daily monitoring and associated actions, as well as monthly reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using risk management software and tools to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.
