Due to a healthy forward workload, LTM Recruitment Specialists Ltd is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Newcastle office. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
  2. Prepare high-quality technical reports, including dilapidation reports and due diligence structural surveys.
  3. Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages, including CSC Fastrak and TEDDS to support reporting tasks.
  4. Ensure the quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports, etc.).
  5. Liaise with and lead other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets the client's objectives.
  6. Lead small to medium refurbishment and building extension projects.
Requirements
  1. A first degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is essential.
  2. Varied experience in all common forms of construction and building types.
  3. Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills are required.
  4. Experience of structural analysis, design, and analysis software is essential.
