Opportunity Overview
This is a remarkable chance to join a truly innovative medical practice in the south-west region. Since its merger in 2014, the practice has consistently been at the forefront of healthcare delivery, being one of the pioneers in implementing what is now recognized as the foundation of the Primary Care Network.
Practice Environment
The practice boasts a significant number of GP Trainers, a vibrant and diverse Partnership, and a committed team of Salaried GPs along with various other prescribing clinicians. The collaborative atmosphere fosters a strong team spirit. Additionally, the structure allows for on-call duties only every 4-5 weeks, during which you will supervise the Urgent Care Team, which includes a Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic Practitioner, and Minor Illness Nurse.
Applications are encouraged from newly qualified GPs as well as those requiring Tier 2 Visa sponsorship.
Compensation
– Approximately £11,000 per session, including indemnity coverage.
Location
– Suburban area of Plymouth.

Your Responsibilities
- Salaried GP role with potential for long-term Partnership.
- 4 or more sessions per week.
- Approximately 13 appointments per session, with a 60:40 ratio of calls to face-to-face consultations.
- One Duty Doctor day every 4-5 weeks.
- Minimal home visit requirements.
- Encouragement for special interests.
