About the Role

The Oyster Partnership is seeking a skilled Housing Enforcement Officer to join their team in a period of increased workload. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring privately rented properties in the Borough comply with relevant legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake HHSRS/Compliance inspections to ensure properties meet required standards
  • Work with a team of Environmental Health Officers and Technical Officers to address housing enforcement issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues and improve housing standards
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in housing standards, compliance inspections, and environmental health. EHRB registration is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.

What We Offer

The Oyster Partnership offers a competitive hourly rate of £50. This is a contract position, and the successful candidate will be working on a flexible schedule.
