Join Airbus as a Project Management Officer

The R&T Wing and System Industrial architects' team at Airbus is seeking a skilled Project Management Officer to support the development of future aircraft wings and investigate new ways to build wings and their relative performance merits. This role will focus on two key projects: delivering Propulsion attachment concepts and a digital transformation research project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management, project integration, and general progress reviews and updates.
  • Aligning progress to finance for reporting purposes.
  • Work preparation and enablement with external suppliers, progressing quality reports, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Interface with internal Airbus and external suppliers to ensure progress of tasks to TCQ.
Required Skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate.
  • Use of planning tools, ideally in an agile environment.
  • Ability to investigate and problem solve.
  • Tracking of risks and implementing mitigation tactics.
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders and communicate confidently and effectively.

Desirable Skills
  • A working knowledge of ZOHO would be advantageous.
  • Experience within a research and development environment.
  • Confident with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Financial tracking and monitoring in spreadsheet format.
