Day Shifts available – 4 on 4 off shifts available salary £49,258 per Anum.

Aspion is actively seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to become part of a prominent industrial organization.

Main Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this position include the upkeep and repair of various equipment, such as:
  • Conveyors
  • Electronic Control Panels
  • Power Transmission Equipment (motors, gearboxes, bearings)
  • Vibratory Screeners and Feeders
  • Air Density Separators
  • Eddy Current Separators
  • Drying Equipment
  • Feed Hoppers
  • Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment
Training will be provided as needed.

Facilities include a spacious workshop equipped with a welding bay and fabrication tools.

Job Duties

The essential tasks associated with this role encompass:
  • Executing all tasks in compliance with company Health and Safety protocols and contributing to the enhancement of these systems.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of current and formulation of new Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks, both proactive and reactive.
  • Conducting welding operations, including stick and MIG welding.
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and preventative routines as required.
  • Implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding all maintenance activities.
  • Exhibiting effective communication skills across all levels.
  • Maintaining a high standard of work to meet the quality specifications of the products handled.
  • Providing technical support to other departments as needed.
  • Completing all tasks via Pirana CMMS work orders.
  • Ensuring all equipment repairs are conducted safely and promptly.
  • Fulfilling all shift checklists as required.
  • Offering detailed feedback to Senior Glass Technicians.
  • Being adaptable to work with production to sustain site efficiencies.
  • Carrying out a variety of tasks as necessitated by evolving roles within the organization and overall business objectives.
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
