About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a range of plumbing pipes and fittings, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, and district heating to M&E contractors and installers.

Your primary focus will be on generating new business and managing existing accounts, with a target turnover of circa £500k. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including M&E contractors, installers, and independent and national merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell a range of plumbing pipes and fittings, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, and district heating to M&E contractors and installers
  • Generate new business and manage existing accounts
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical field sales experience with plumbing and heating contractors and merchants
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT savvy and able to create sales plans
