Design Manager

At Recra Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to lead our design and engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and engineering processes in a steel fabrication company.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of designers, drafters, and engineers to ensure accurate and efficient design development.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Develop and implement design strategies to meet project goals, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Manage a team of designers, drafters, and engineers, assigning tasks and providing guidance.
- Oversee the creation and modification of engineering and fabrication drawings using appropriate software and tools.
- Delegating tasks, designs, and projects across the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in design management within the steel fabrication industry.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, codes, and design standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering quality work.
