Job Description

Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing Customer Payments
    • Analyzing customer payments with precision, actively pursuing remittances, recording transactions, allocating funds, and investigating unallocated cash reasons.
  • Credit Allocation and Investigation
    • Conducting credit allocation and investigation tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process Development
    • Playing a key role in developing and refining credit control processes.
  • Additional Tasks
    • Undertaking additional tasks supporting the credit controller, such as following up on outstanding payments.
  • Customer Communication
    • Communicating with customers to ensure full reconciliation for each transaction is sent back and updating the system to reflect this.
  • Issue Resolution
    • Investigating and resolving issues with client accounts.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Preparing reports including debtor days, queries, and cash management.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Liaising with customers and the sales team.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks
    • Completing ad hoc reports and tasks as requested by management.
  • Transaction Management
    • Handling transactions for accounts payables & receivables and updating the ledgers in Sage 200 & website.
  • Compliance
    • Liaising with compliance regarding customer credit limits.
  • Legal Documentation
    • Preparing legal working papers in case of customer non-payments within stipulated trade terms.
  • Creative Problem-Solving
    • Creative thinking.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of credit control experience.

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £20/h to £26/h depending on experience.
