About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions, a leading provider of social care services. As a Weekend Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, household chores, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities they enjoy, such as hobbies, social events, and community outings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience working in social care or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and varied shift patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to person-centered care.
