About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Officer to join our team at Derbyshire County Council. As a key member of our Facilities Management Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial monitoring of our revenue budgets, capital programme, and trading accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor, coordinate, and collate data from multiple systems associated with the monitoring of costs and performance associated with our land and property portfolio.
  • Utilize information technology to ensure the accurate recording and manipulation of property-related data.
  • Identify and escalate areas of significant deviations in building budgets.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data for the production of property performance indicators and to assist in performance benchmarking.
Requirements
  • Experience of collecting, collating, and monitoring financial information relating to property management budgets in a large and complex organization or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of budget monitoring processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data using proven analytical and ICT skills within Microsoft office products.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Relevant vocational qualification and relevant or significant practical experience.
