About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Counter Sales Manager to join our team at Headlam Group plc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our trade counter and driving sales growth through excellent customer relationships and a deep understanding of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a significant customer base of commercial flooring contractors, shop fitters, and construction project managers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow sales with existing products and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and solution selling to introduce customers to new products and ranges, driving incremental sales.
  • Manage customer pricing quotations and terms to reflect the complexity of products, price points, volumes, and credit terms.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales and account management experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Impressive track record of driving sales through a consultative-selling approach.
  • People management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Good organizational skills and experience working with CRM or similar systems.
  • A full, clean driving license.
