Job Title: Graduate Pastoral Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Pastoral Support Worker to join our team at a friendly Secondary School in Northallerton. As a Graduate Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's behaviour management team and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the school's behaviour management team in maintaining good order and discipline throughout the school
  • Work with students who require additional support to help manage their behaviour and regulate their emotions
  • Assist teachers in ensuring students are on-task and engaged in lessons
  • Help to develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce incidents
  • Collaborate with other support staff to provide a comprehensive support service to students
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate in an academic subject from a good UK University
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Full relevant training in behaviour management and support will be provided
