About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Disability Team Manager to join our innovative CAMHS service at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. In this role, you will lead a team of clinicians and consultants, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver exceptional mental health care to children and young people with learning disabilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to your team of CAMHS professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative service models within the THRIVE framework, ensuring equitable access to mental health services for all children with learning disabilities across Essex.
  • Collaborate effectively with other health and social care professionals, agencies, and families to ensure holistic and integrated care for our young patients.
  • Manage complex projects related to service provision, driving continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to the Trust's values, promoting ethical and person-centered care at all times.

About You

You will be a highly motivated and experienced professional with a postgraduate qualification in psychology, family therapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, nursing, social work, or occupational therapy. You will possess a minimum of two years of experience working directly with children or adults with learning disabilities, preferably within a CAMHS setting.

Your strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and commitment to collaborative working will be essential for success in this role.
