Job Description

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join a dynamic and growing Construction and Engineering company in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Reporting Professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Financial Reporting: Prepare and review statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Review and analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage the audit process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including tax, accounting, and commercial teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Technical Accounting Skills: Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, and auditing, with a strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
