Gibson Recruitment Limited is a distinguished and established Civil Engineering firm known for executing a diverse range of intricate projects, maintaining a strong reputation as a leader in the sector.

In light of ongoing growth, the organization is looking to expand its workforce by adding a dedicated Site (Civil) Engineer to its team on a permanent basis.


Given the nature of the projects, occasional travel and overnight stays may be required, and possession of a full UK driving license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and organization of operations, including the preparation of method statements and risk assessments, as well as sourcing subcontractors, labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to quality assurance processes.
  • Develop comprehensive work plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor the advancement of project activities.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all management levels involved in the project.
  • Participate in regular meetings with clients to review and evaluate performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure that work is performed to a safe and high standard.
  • Understand and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS Card.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
