We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Catering Assistant/Barista to join our team at Sutton Coldfield College. As a key member of our integral team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our outlet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverages to order, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Mainly working in the Starbucks unit, with occasional duties in the kitchen.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store, including front and back of house areas.
  • Utilize the till and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Assist with light food preparation and service, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operation and exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Barista training is an advantage, but not essential.
  • A team player with flexibility and a commitment to high standards.
  • DBS clearance is required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • A full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.
