Job Title: Catering Assistant

Anchor is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Maple Dene in Birmingham. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a quality catering service in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
  • Minimise wastage when preparing meals and use equipment correctly.
  • Escalate concerns and issues.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health & safety procedures, including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH).
  • Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of working with older people.
