We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a key member of our Naval Ships team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and governing capable methods of manufacture, assembly, disassembly, and repair.
Key Responsibilities- Influence the design to ensure it aligns with current and evolving manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop and implement manufacturing capabilities and technology to meet design requirements.
- Translate engineering design intent into manufacturing engineering data for use in operations.
- Ensure manufacturing engineering output meets all relevant safety and quality requirements.
- Generate and progress manufacturing engineering output in line with project and program requirements.
- Define and execute emergent work affecting manufacture, fabrication, or construction.
- Analyze and present manufacturing data to inform process improvement or investment decisions.
To be considered for this role, you must be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Production Engineering Management, Product Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
